New Years is a Great times to stop and think.

how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.

the proper name of the one true God
unpronounced except with the vowel

[Psa 8:2 ESV] Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.

Babies & Infants?
[1Co 1:26 ESV] For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.

The Typological Interpretation.
Near/immediate fulfillment & a Christ Fulfillment. Hebrews 2:6-8

[Psa 8:7 ESV] all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field,
[Psa 8:8 ESV] the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas.
[Psa 8:9 ESV] O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

[Psa 19:1 ESV] To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
[Psa 19:2 ESV] Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.
[Psa 19:3 ESV] There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard.

[Psa 19:4 ESV] Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,
[Psa 19:5 ESV] which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy.
[Psa 19:6 ESV] Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.

[Psa 19:7 ESV] The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul;
the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;

[Psa 19:8 ESV] the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;

[Psa 19:9 ESV] the fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever;
the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether.

[Psa 19:10 ESV] More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb.
[Psa 19:11 ESV] Moreover, by them is your servant warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.

[Psa 19:12 ESV] Who can discern his errors?
Declare me innocent from hidden faults.

[Psa 19:13 ESV] Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins;
let them not have dominion over me!
Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression.

[Psa 19:14 ESV] Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.

Celebrate Communion: we are called to examine our self.

[1Co 11:28 ESV] Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
[1Co 11:29 ESV] For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.
[1Co 11:30 ESV] That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died.
[1Co 11:31 ESV] But if we judged ourselves truly, we would not be judged.

[1Co 11:23 ESV] For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread,

saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me."
