Hebrews 7 Melchizedek Priesthood Greater than Aaronic Priesthood
[Gen 14:18 ESV] And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. (He was priest of God Most High.)
[Gen 14:19 ESV] And he blessed him and said, "Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;
[Gen 14:20 ESV] and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand!" And Abram gave him a tenth of everything.
His Name, Title and Role:
[Heb 7:1 ESV] For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,
[Heb 7:2 ESV] and to him Abraham apportioned a tenth part of everything. He is first, by translation of his name, king of righteousness, and then he is also king of Salem, that is, king of peace.
Melchizedek = "king of righteousness"
Salem means Peace.
King of Righteousness, The King of Peace
A comparison of similarities.
[Heb 7:3 ESV] He is without father or mother or genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but resembling the Son of God he continues a priest forever.
[Heb 7:4 ESV] See how great this man was to whom Abraham the patriarch gave a tenth of the spoils!
Priesthood receives Tithes.
[Heb 7:5 ESV] And those descendants of Levi who receive the priestly office have a commandment in the law to take tithes from the people, that is, from their brothers, though these also are descended from Abraham.
Abraham Tithed, Melchizedek Blessed.
[Heb 7:6 ESV] But this man who does not have his descent from them received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises.
[Heb 7:7 ESV] It is beyond dispute that the inferior is blessed by the superior.
[Heb 7:8 ESV] In the one case tithes are received by mortal men, but in the other case, by one of whom it is testified that he lives.
Levi Tithed via Great. . .Granddaddy Abraham
[Heb 7:9 ESV] One might even say that Levi himself, who receives tithes, paid tithes through Abraham,
[Heb 7:10 ESV] for he was still in the loins of his ancestor when Melchizedek met him.
A New Priest for a New Convenient
Old Convenient does not make people Perfect before the Holiness of God.
[Heb 7:11 ESV] Now if perfection had been attainable through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need would there have been for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, rather than one named after the order of Aaron?
[Heb 7:12 ESV] For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is necessarily a change in the law as well.
Jesus is not from the tribe of Levi, but Judah
[Heb 7:13 ESV] For the one of whom these things are spoken belonged to another tribe, from which no one has ever served at the altar.
[Heb 7:14 ESV] For it is evident that our Lord was descended from Judah, and in connection with that tribe Moses said nothing about priests.
Requirement for Melchizedek Priesthood. . . . Be Immortal.
[Heb 7:15 ESV] This becomes even more evident when another priest arises in the likeness of Melchizedek,
[Heb 7:16 ESV] who has become a priest, not on the basis of a legal requirement concerning bodily descent, but by the power of an indestructible life.
Prophecies about Jesus
[Heb 7:17 ESV] For it is witnessed of him, "You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek.
New Covenant Greater than the Old Covenant
[Heb 7:18 ESV] For on the one hand, a former commandment is set aside because of its weakness and uselessness
[Heb 7:19 ESV] (for the law made nothing perfect); but on the other hand, a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God.
God’s Word w/ an Oath.
[Heb 7:20 ESV] And it was not without an oath. For those who formerly became priests were made such without an oath,
[Heb 7:21 ESV] but this one was made a priest with an oath by the one who said to him: "The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, 'You are a priest forever.'"
[Heb 7:22 ESV] This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant.
Living Forever Makes Jesus the Final King/Priest in the order of Melchizedek
[Heb 7:23 ESV] The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office,
[Heb 7:24 ESV] but he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever.
Serious Benefit! Saved Forever
[Heb 7:25 ESV] Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
Such a High Priest!
[Heb 7:26 ESV] For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens.
Jesus Offered Up Himself!
[Heb 7:27 ESV] He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself.
The Perfect Son Forever, appointed by the Oath of God
[Heb 7:28 ESV] For the law appoints men in their weakness as high priests, but the word of the oath, which came later than the law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.

Hebrews 6: One Correct Interpretation of The Gospel
Saturday Jul 05, 2014
Saturday Jul 05, 2014
Context: The writer is just starting to talk about Christ as the last, Final High Priest, Greater than the Aaronic Priesthood.
He is getting ready to explain more deeply the Permanence of Jesus’s Office as Priest & how it’s effects the permanence of our Salvation.
Meanwhile back in Chapter 5.
You Can’t grow in the depths of maturity if you still doubt that Jesus Saved You.
[Heb 5:11 ESV] About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.
[Heb 5:12 ESV] For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food,
[Heb 5:13 ESV] for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child.
[Heb 5:14 ESV] But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.
Know! . . . That You Are Saved!
[Heb 6:1 ESV] Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,
[Heb 6:2 ESV] and of instruction about washings (baptism), the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
[Heb 6:3 ESV] And this we will do if God permits.
**Baptism is an outward sign or expression of an inward transformation.
** Laying on of hands. An intimate personal connection for the purpose of dispensing a blessing.
** Resurrection of the dead
Jesus Says.
[Mat 22:31 ESV] And as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was said to you by God:
[Mat 22:32 ESV] 'I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? He is not God of the dead, but of the living."
** Eternal Judgment.
[Rev 20:12 ESV] And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.
[Rev 20:13 ESV] And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.
[Rev 20:14 ESV] Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.
No yo-yo Jesus!
[Heb 6:4 ESV] For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit,
[Heb 6:5 ESV] and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come,
[Heb 6:6 ESV] and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt.
If you think you lost your salvation, then give up now. There is no second chance.
Those Who Are Redeemed, Born Again, Saved. .. Bear Fruit.
[Heb 6:7 ESV] For land that has drunk the rain that often falls on it, and produces a crop useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God.
[Heb 6:8 ESV] But if it bears thorns and thistles, it is worthless and near to being cursed, and its end is to be burned.
The Evidence of Salvation.
A True and Sure love for God, revealed in the following.
1. A Undeniable desire to Follow Jesus!
A sincere desire to know the Bible and Obey the Bible. Because the Bible is God’s Word.
It’s a sincere desire to know God better.
2. The gift of struggle, is the work of Sanctification.
[Gal 5:16 ESV] But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
[Gal 5:17 ESV] For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.
[Gal 5:18 ESV] But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
[Gal 5:19 ESV] Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality,
[Gal 5:20 ESV] idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions,
[Gal 5:21 ESV] envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
[Gal 5:22 ESV] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
[Gal 5:23 ESV] gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
[Gal 5:24 ESV] And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
[Gal 5:25 ESV] If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.
[1Jo 4:19 NIV] We love because He first loved us.
A response to true love creates acts of true love in the case of God’s love for us.
A messy struggle from old sinful activity to new holy activity.
That happens to look like the 5 Disciplines.
Assurance of Salvation, Knowing you are saved for sure, makes one work harder.
[Heb 6:9 ESV] Though we speak in this way, yet in your case, beloved, we feel sure of better things--things that belong to salvation.
FELLOWSHIP
[Heb 6:10 ESV] For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do.
[Heb 6:11 ESV] And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end,
Fruit!
[Heb 6:12 ESV] so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
When God makes a Promise NOT even God can change it.
[Heb 6:13 ESV] For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, he swore by himself,
[Heb 6:14 ESV] saying, "Surely I will bless you and multiply you."
[Heb 6:15 ESV] And thus Abraham, having patiently waited, obtained the promise.
What about when God does something wrathful?
He didn’t break a promise.
It was always when His creation broke a Convent Agreement.
God is always the victim of evil humanity. He is always Just in His Actions. He is always FAIR.
Nowhere in History or Current day can you say God is not Fair.
There are two groups of people in the World.
Those who receive Gods Justice and those who receive His Mercy & Grace.
[Heb 6:16 ESV] For people swear by something greater than themselves, and in all their disputes an oath is final for confirmation.
[Heb 6:17 ESV] So when God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he guaranteed it with an oath,
God’s Guarantee of Salvation:
[2Co 1:20 ESV] For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.
[2Co 1:21 ESV] And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us,
[2Co 1:22 ESV] and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.
Mortal Swallowed up by Life!
[2Co 5:4 ESV] For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened--not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
[2Co 5:5 ESV] He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.
[2Co 5:6 ESV] So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord,
[2Co 5:7 ESV] for we walk by faith, not by sight.
Our Inheritance
[Eph 1:13 ESV] In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,
[Eph 1:14 ESV] who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.
Two Unchangeable Things:
1. God’s Unchanging Purpose
2. God’s Promise or Oath.
[Heb 6:18 ESV] so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us.
[Heb 6:19 ESV] We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain,
The Holy of Holies! The Throne of God Himself!!!!!
[Heb 6:20 ESV] where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
Celebrate Communion
[1Co 11:23 ESV] For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread,
[1Co 11:24 ESV] and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me."
[1Co 11:25 ESV] In the same way also he took the cup,
after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me."
[1Co 11:26 ESV] For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

Hebrews 5: Jesus is THE HIGH PRIEST. You know; Prophet, Priest, King.
Saturday Jun 21, 2014
Saturday Jun 21, 2014
[Heb 5:1 ESV] For every high priest chosen from among men is appointed to act on behalf of men in relation to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins.
[Heb 5:2 ESV] He can deal gently with the ignorant and wayward, since he himself is beset with weakness.
[Heb 5:3 ESV] Because of this he is obligated to offer sacrifice for his own sins just as he does for those of the people.
[Heb 5:4 ESV] And no one takes this honor for himself, but only when called by God, just as Aaron was.
Jesus is The High Priest
[Heb 5:5 ESV] So also Christ did not exalt himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by him who said to him, "You are my Son, today I have begotten you";
Paul in Acts 13, also refers to the following Psalm.
[Psa 2:7 ESV] I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, "You are my Son; today I have begotten you.
God Verbally Announces Jesus is His Son.
[Mat 3:16 ESV] And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him;
[Mat 3:17 ESV] and behold, a voice from heaven said, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased."
[Heb 5:6 ESV] as he says also in another place, "You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek."
Psalm 110: 4.
[Psa 110:4 ESV] The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind, "You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek."
[Heb 5:7 ESV] In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.
Matthew and Mark record His agony in the Garden.
[Mat 26:37 ESV] And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful and troubled.
[Mat 26:38 ESV] Then he said to them, "My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch with me."
[Mat 26:39 ESV] And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will."
Luke’s Account of Jesus’ agony in the Garden, An angel appeared to strengthen Him.
[Luk 22:43 ESV] And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, strengthening him.
On The Cross!
[Mar 15:34 ESV] And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?" which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
[Mar 15:37 ESV] And Jesus uttered a loud cry and breathed his last.
What was that last Shouts? There were TWO.
[Jhn 19:30 ESV] When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, "It is finished," and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
[Luk 23:46 ESV] Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!" And having said this he breathed his last.
“Learned obedience. . .”
[Heb 5:8 ESV] Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered.
Jesus: He is the Sinless experiencing the curse and the judgment of a sinner.
“Being Made Perfect. . .”
[Heb 5:9 ESV] And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,
God is Immutable. He does not change.
[Jas 1:17 ESV] Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
[Psa 102:25 ESV] Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.
[Psa 102:26 ESV] They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away,
[Psa 102:27 ESV] but you are the same, and your years have no end.
[Exo 3:14 ESV] God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And he said, "Say this to the people of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'"
In The Garden, comparison
The serpent lied and said to disobey God was to become like God, knowing good and evil.
God does not know evil.
Who knew evil? . . . the serpent.
Adam and Eve were already “Like” God. They knew no sin.
Jesus comes to “know: experience” this evil when
[2Co 5:21 ESV] For our sake He (God) made Him (Jesus) to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him (Jesus) we might become the righteousness of God.
Jesus is LEADING THE WAY in undoing, what was done in the garden.
[Heb 5:10 ESV] being designated by God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek.
Who is Melchizedek? The KING-PRIEST of Salem, future - Jerusalem
[Gen 14:18 ESV] And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. (He was priest of God Most High.)
[Gen 14:19 ESV] And he blessed him and said, "Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;
[Gen 14:20 ESV] and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand!" And Abram gave him a tenth of everything.
The author pauses, realizing he is going to have to explain a lot more stuff, so he takes a moment to chastise and exhort the Christians.
[Heb 5:11 ESV] About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.
(Point of Context) Jews should know their Old Testament.
Messianic Jews and Gentile Believers (The Christians) Should know the Gospel - Hebrews Chapter 6.
Again Garden comparison: Truly knowing Good from evil.
Apart from Christ, we are not like God. We don’t know good from evil. We only know evil.
[Rom 12:2 ESV] Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Hebrews 4: Enter His Rest
Saturday Jun 07, 2014
Saturday Jun 07, 2014
**Time for us to do a personal spiritual inventory**
How Am I responding to God’s Bible, Right Now, Today?
Therefore: How the Israelites Responded . . . . . .
[Heb 3:15 ESV] As it is said, "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion."
[Heb 3:16 ESV] For who were those who heard and yet rebelled? Was it not all those who left Egypt led by Moses?
[Heb 3:17 ESV] And with whom was he provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
[Heb 3:18 ESV] And to whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
[Heb 3:19 ESV] So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.
Christians VS Israelites: How we respond to God’s Word.
[Heb 4:2 ESV] For good news came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened.
The REST Zone! God is in the REST ZONE, Some people are in it, some are not.
[Heb 4:3 ESV] For we who have believed enter that rest, as he has said, "As I swore in my wrath, 'They shall not enter my rest,'" although his works were finished from the foundation of the world.
[Heb 4:4 ESV] For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way: "And God rested on the seventh day from all his works."
[Heb 4:5 ESV] And again in this passage he said, "They shall not enter my rest."
How do you receive the good news?
[Heb 4:6 ESV] Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news failed to enter because of disobedience,
How do you receive Bible Truth Right Now . . . Today?
[Heb 4:7 ESV] again he appoints a certain day, "Today," saying through David so long afterward, in the words already quoted, "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts."
[Heb 4:8 ESV] For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on.
[Heb 4:9 ESV] So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God,
[Heb 4:10 ESV] for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
[Heb 4:11 ESV] Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.
God’s Rest Begins Today!
Today, receive God’s Truth.
Sabbath Rest begins when we have been SAVED.
First for Salvation,
Second for your life’s Purpose.
Our Purpose & Meaning begin to Mature.
New Creation
[2Co 5:17 ESV] Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
[2Co 5:18 ESV] All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;
New Heart
[Eze 36:26 ESV] And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
[Eze 36:27 ESV] And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.
A Child of God
[Jhn 1:11 ESV] He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him.
[Jhn 1:12 ESV] But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,
[Jhn 1:13 ESV] who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
Rest from our vain works, Meaningless, empty lives.
[Eph 2:4 ESV] But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,
[Eph 2:5 ESV] even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ--by grace you have been saved--
[Eph 2:6 ESV] and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
[Eph 2:7 ESV] so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
[Eph 2:8 ESV] For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,
[Eph 2:9 ESV] not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
[1Jo 1:9 ESV] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Sabbath Rest!
[Rom 8:19 ESV] For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.
[Rom 8:20 ESV] For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope
[Rom 8:21 ESV] that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
[Rom 8:22 ESV] For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.
[Rom 8:23 ESV] And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
Rest from the following:
Cursed Work!
[Gen 3:17 ESV] And to Adam he said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, 'You shall not eat of it,' cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;
[Gen 3:18 ESV] thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field.
[Gen 3:19 ESV] By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return."
Cursed body!
[Gal 5:17 ESV] For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.
Suffering, death, pain, fear, frustration, heart break
[Rev 21:3 ESV] And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.
[Rev 21:4 ESV] He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."
Share the Bible even with those who don’t believe it.
[Heb 4:12 ESV] For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
[Heb 4:13 ESV] And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
Jesus is a General who leads from the Front!
[Heb 4:14 ESV] Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
[Heb 4:15 ESV] For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.
[Heb 4:16 ESV] Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
